Memorama was designed to mark the 30th anniversary of the France Alzheimer and Related Diseases Association. It brings together four objects, each telling a story, evoking a feeling, nurturing an atmosphere dear to the Association. However, they all underline the same commitment: the association's 30-year dedication to supporting sufferers and their carers, changing the way people look at the disease and advancing the Alzheimer's cause.
The loveseat. The Memorama loveseat invites dialogue. It represents listening and support for sufferers and their carers, one of the cornerstones of the work of the France Alzheimer Association.
The viewing window. Through the panes of this window, you can see six initiatives accredited by the France Alzheimer and Related Diseases Association: caregiver training, drop-in centers, conviviality initiatives, memory cafés, vacation stays and discussion groups.
The brilliant brain. The brilliant brain is an object whose contours are hard to grasp, like Alzheimer's disease. Inside, two complementary visions of a brain in trouble: one medical, the other sensitive and singular, always present despite the evolution of symptoms.
The library door. On one side, the library door features a map of the 92 associations in the département. On the other, it features a collection of books published by the France Alzheimer and Related Diseases Association. Reissued in facsimile form and adorned with illustrations created for the occasion, these works underline the association's ongoing commitment to scientific research and its dissemination to a wide audience.
