Letting the dust settle

2012

CCA Kitakyushu Research Program

“Letting the dust settle presents the works of a designer, Isabelle Daëron, and an architect, Yohei Shimada, developed during their stay in the program. This exhibition consists of two complementary approaches to the experience of living in a city — in a historical, social and physical context. It describes a position that emphasizes the specific qualities of the place: interaction with the environment, facilities and natural flow in order to design a (more) public space.”

The pictures below present a research around 10 Topiques, objects using natural flows in the city.
