Ishihara

2015

How do you give a second life to paper scraps?

Produced as part of the So Paper program (Sophie Chénel and Sophie Larger), the aim of which is to explore ways of recycling paper offcuts from the company Procédés Chénel.

Ishihara designs carpets and tapestries from rolls of paper, cut and assembled together. This principle offers infinite design potential: the range of colors available, depending on the type of scrap, can be used to create graphic, abstract or figurative surfaces.
